Corfu Cosy Vibes Terms & Conditions

Dear guests, 

Thank you for stopping by! We would love to keep this light and enjoyable, but it is unfortunately, a tiresome, boring but essential reading. This is an agreement that describes what we expect from our guests and what our guests should expect when they book their holiday accommodation with us. It is not interesting and entertaining, but we believe it covers both sides...just in case...

AGREEMENT

This is an agreement between the website's owner and its visitors regarding the policies and procedures conducted by the website. "Corfu Cosy Vibes Ltd" owns and operates this website. These Terms establish the terms and conditions upon which you may access and use our website and services. By accessing or using our website's services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

This website offers the following services:

a. Short-term holiday accommodation in Corfu, listed on the site.

b. Provide guests with information about the accommodation and the owners of their choice that are listed on the site.

c. Organising, setting up, and managing Airbnb and Booking.com listings and calendars as per the owner's request.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use our website or receive our services and have the legal authority, right, and freedom to enter into these Terms as a binding agreement. You are not permitted to use this website or receive services if doing so is prohibited in your country or under any applicable law or regulation. When you make a reservation/booking with us, you agree to the following:

  • You are responsible for reading the full item description before making a commitment to book it.

  • You enter into a legally binding contract to pay for the reservation/booking when you commit to reserve/book it and you complete the checkout payment process as per the website's and/or property owner's policies.

  • The prices we charge for our services are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for services displayed at any time.

  • The fee for the services and any other charges that may incur in connection with your use of the service, such as taxes or possible transaction fees, will be charged as described. REFUND POLICY: As per property owner's cancellation policy.

OWNERSHIP OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, COPYRIGHTS & LOGOS

The service and all materials contained in or transferred by it, including but not limited to software, images, text, graphics, logos, patents, trademarks, service marks, copyrights, photographs, audio, videos, music, and all Intellectual Property Rights related, are the sole property of "Corfu Cosy Vibes Ltd".

Except as explicitly provided herein, nothing in these Terms shall be deemed to create a license in or under any such Intellectual Property Rights, and you agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, adapt, edit, or create derivative works thereof. We retain the right to change these terms at any time and for any reason. As a result, you should revisit the site regularly. Acceptance of the amended Terms is implied by your continuing use of the website or our services. Do not use or continue to access the website or the services if you do not agree to any of these terms or any subsequent version of the Terms. The prospective visitor acknowledges and accepts the Corfu Cosy Vibe's general terms and conditions by making a reservation/booking with us.

Corfu Cosy Vibes, offers travel services, which should not be confused with those provided by Tour Operators or Travel Agencies. 

We do not sell tickets of any kind - air tickets, bus tickets etc. - or make reservations for rental cars, motorbikes, or bicycles, nor do we sell tickets to other events.

We can provide you with information and recommendations though, if you so wish.

OUR SERVICES

Our services are strictly limited to the following:

a. booking accommodation listed on our website

b. providing guests with information about the accommodation/owner of their choice listed on our website, and

c. at the owner's request, we organise, set up, and manage Airbnb and Booking.com listings and calendars

  • We check the apartments before presenting them to you on our website; nonetheless, we cannot be held liable for any flaws in the amenities and services provided by the owners.

  • The property owner is responsible for the provision of the booked accommodation.

  • "Corfu Cosy Vibes", is not liable for any missing or any damaged personal items. 

  • "Corfu Cosy Vibes", is not liable for any injuries or accidents that may occur in the premises. Guests are responsible for their well-being.

  • Our guests are kindly required to settle all outstanding balances directly with the property owner before/upon checkout. We regret to inform you that the property owners cannot accept personal/company cheques or credit cards on the premises.

  • The guests are kindly required to comply with the policies of the accommodation they have chosen.

  • All cancellations are subject to the owner's cancellation policy.

  • All guests are requested to produce an approved government photo identity card or a valid passport or driving license upon check-in.

  •  All guests are required to report immediately to the owner any damages or maintenance issues that occur.

  • Guests agree to leave the property in the same condition as found and return the keys at the designated by the owner/host area upon checkout.

  • The number of guests should not exceed the number stated on the owner's confirmation booking letter. If more people occupy the premises than the agreed number of guests, the guest agrees to pay for the additional people. 

  • Missing items and property damage will be charged to you, and guests will pay for any damages upon checkout directly to the owner.

  • Check-in & out: We want to be as flexible as possible. We do not mind if you arrive early or stay late, as long as there is no other booking immediately after or before you. If this is the case, we would greatly appreciate it if you could leave on time to prepare for our next visitor or your arrival. This is not written in stone and we are very flexible.

  • Availability: We try to keep up to date with our availability. However, it is Advisable to contact us directly through our website, via the email form on the contact us page or send us a message to ensure that the dates you want are available. To avoid unpleasant surprises and double bookings, we would like to accept bookings in advance, if possible. However, please feel free to drop us a line with any questions you may have.

  • Access for people with disabilities: Despite our best efforts, we cannot accommodate people with disabilities due to the properties' architectural structure and construction or a lack of space for wheelchair or scooter type assistance.

  • PETS: We apologise to our furry friends. We're afraid we won't be able to accommodate them in some of our apartments. We love cats and other animals. We all have pets at home, or at least many of us do, but we must also consider others. Dogs, cats, and other animals cause allergic reactions in many people. We cannot guarantee that the house is safe for allergy sufferers once one of our four-legged companions' visits. We regret that we are unable to accept animals. However, we encourage you to feel free to enquiry...

  • Zero tolerance: Guests and members of their party shall not use or permit to brought into the property any illegal controlled substances or items hazardous to persons or property. 

  • Zero tolerance: We will not tolerate any abusive behaviour towards us or our members of staff.

  • Smoking: As per property owner's policy.

  • Noise: Some of the properties are located in a residential neighbourhood. Guests should be quiet and enjoy the premises but not to disturb other guests or residents, especially in the quiet hours applicable by law in Greece. For example, any activity that generates noise should be avoided.

Common quiet hours applicable by law in Greece:

Summer period: 1st April to 30th September  15:00 - 17:00 & 23:00 - 07:00

Winter period:    1st October to 31st March     15:30 - 17:30 & 22:30 - 07:30

The properties in a residential building and area may not suit you, especially if you are looking for quiet and noisy free holiday accommodation. The levels of noise change during peak hours, and traffic at times can be heavy.

We would not like anyone to have an unpleasant surprise if looking for a quiet and secluded holiday rental.
